Pastor Schwanke
Pastor Barnabas Schwanke became the founding pastor of Faithway Baptist Church in 2008. He grew up in southern New Hampshire and accepted Christ as his Savior in 1987. Later, while attending at a summer camp; he dedicated his life to serving God in full-time Christian service.
After graduating from college and getting married, Pastor Schwanke and his wife, Liz, moved to Peoria, AZ. It was there that the Schwankes had the privilege of serving at the newly planted Lakeside Baptist Church for a couple of years. God richly blessed and the church experienced wonderful growth during that time. Pastor Schwanke then moved his family to Northern Virginia, where under the leadership of Heritage Baptist Church and Pastor Michael Edwards, Faithway Baptist Church was established in the Spring of 2008.
Recently, God has blessed Faithway Baptist Church in miraculous ways. We still believe, however, "That the best is still yet to come!" If there is anything that the pastoral staff can do for you, please contact us and let us know how we can serve you.
