Preaching the Word...
As a church, we have a responsibility to preach the Word of God—all of it. In order to understand it best, we need to make our way through the Bible systematically. It's just like reading any other book. Words are understood within sentences. Sentences are understood within paragraphs. Paragraphs are understood within chapters. And so on.
The systematic approach towards the Bible is called expository preaching. Pick a Bible book. Start at the beginning and preach through the verses in that book until you’ve reached the end. This method treats the Bible with the respect and intellectual weight it deserves. And it gives believers what they long for: the pure milk of God's word, in all its fullness. Once you’ve heard it, you might wonder where it's been your whole life.
