SOUL WINNING

Reaching the Lost

Jesus said "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). When was the last time a stranger talked to you about Jesus? If nobody ever tells YOU about Jesus, how often do you think the average person hears the Truth of the Word of God?

While most people claim some religious affiliation, even claim to be Christians, the majority of people in America today have never been personally led to Christ and have the assurance of salvation. If this is the condition in America, can you imagine how it is in other countries?

Deep down, every true Christian wants to tell others about salvation found in Jesus Christ, but find it difficult to talk personally with someone, especially a stranger. At Faithway, we desire to teach you how to be an effective witness for the Lord.

Think about this, five hundred years from now it won't matter how many times the Redskins won (or didn't win) the Superbowl! In five hundred years no one will care what kind of car you drove or how big your house was. The only thing that will matter is what you did for Christ. As the old saying goes, "Only one life, 'twill soon be past, only what's done for Christ will last." So Christian, what are you doing for Him?

Charles H. Spurgeon said, "If there existed only one man or woman who did not love the Savior, and if that person lived amoung the wilds of Siberia, and if it were neccesary that all the millions of believers on the face of the earth should journey there, and everyone of them plead with him to come to Jesus before he could be converted, it would be well worth all the zeal, labor, and expense. If we had to preach to thousands year after year, and never rescued but one soul, that one soul would be a full reward for all our labor, for one soul is of countless price."
