Worship Is for God
When we gather as a church family, our desire is simple: to turn our attention away from ourselves and toward Jesus Christ.
We want our worship to be biblical, reverent, joyful, and centered on Him.
Why We Worship
Simple. Reverent. Biblical.
The most important question we ask about worship isn’t, “What do I like?”
It’s, “What honors God?”
We don’t gather to put on a show or create an experience. We gather because God is worthy of our worship and because we need the truth of His Word.
That shapes what we do when we’re together.

We believe God’s people need God’s Word.
That’s why preaching is at the center of our worship. Each week, we open the Bible and seek to understand what God has said and how His truth should shape our lives.
Our goal isn’t to entertain or impress. It’s to faithfully preach the Word so that we might know Christ better and follow Him more faithfully.
The Voices of God’s People
We Sing
We believe singing belongs to the whole church.
At Faithway, the congregation isn’t an audience watching others worship. The congregation is the choir.
We sing hymns and songs filled with biblical truth that help us praise God, remember the gospel, and encourage one another.
The most important sound on Sunday isn’t coming from the platform. It’s the sound of God’s people lifting their voices together to Christ.
Seeking the Lord Together
We Pray
Prayer isn’t just something we do between songs or before the sermon. Prayer is part of our worship.
Together, we praise God, thank Him for His goodness, pray for one another, bring the needs of our church and community before Him, and ask for His help.
We pray because we know how much we need Him.
God Has Spoken
We Read Scripture
Because the Bible is God’s Word, we want Scripture not only preached, but heard.
The public reading of Scripture reminds us that our authority doesn’t come from a pastor, a personality, or our own preferences.
God has spoken. We want to listen.
Come Worship With Us
You don’t need to know every hymn. You don’t need to know when to stand or exactly what to expect.
